Another state , all you must do is email it to your printer which has its own email address. That constitutes out of state printing my friends. I don't understand how people answer questions with out thinking or researching. Honestly this printer doesn't seem to amuse me , I think I'm going for the 6978. Better featured. I just purchased it and now I'm bringin it back. Didn't realize it lacked so many features. My 7520 was awesome but the dam ink holder seems to want to not allow ink to pass though. Cost too much for a part so 20 bucks more here comes a new printer. Good luck

No, the printer is based on Wifi signal and it would be out of range.
