• What would be the device receiving the scan? No editing software. PhotoShop comes with some PCs.

• Yes, you can manage and send scans directly from the printer to a computer without using the computer first! There is basic editing software for copies and scans made on the printer, but the majority of your touchups would be done on a computer!
