“Why no answer to this simple question? "When a color print cartridge runs out are you still able to print using just the black ink or does the printer just stop printing?"”

• This printer requires all the cartridges to have ink in them to be able to print. If one runs out, it has to be replaced.

• Yes you should be able to if you select black and white printing. If it is on color it may print blank.
