I was concerned about the setup also. It turned out to be very quick. The wifi sets up easily and fast - just be sure you have your router information ready to use. I print from 2 different desktops, and 2 different ipads, and never have had a problem. The entire setup, from opening the box to printing was less than 30 minutes, including moving the old printer out of the way.
