“Just bought this printer. When I run the fax test report it fails for fax line noise test. I have verizon Fios phone/internet service. There's no noise or static on my line. How can I correct this? I am unable to send/receive faxes.”

Pretty sure if your internet is coming through your phone line, you may need a filter that goes between the phone line and the plug. I am not too familiar with Fios, but I remember in years past, I had to use a filter on my DSL line to use a fax. I would check with Verizon on this.

I don't mean to ask a stupid question, but the first time I tested my fax I forgot that I had to actually plug the phone line into the wall jack. LOL Did you perhaps forget too? Faxing is not wireless. Otherwise, perhaps the HP website can offer more troubleshooting.
