• first download the hp print scan doctor. It helped me to go to my touch screen to locate where the paper was jammed. Also, i took my paper tray out and my cartridges and cleared all appear, blew dust remover in the area and then restarted the printer so that maintenance could diagnose as well. hope this helps.

• Lift the top front-edge of the printer up using the fingertip recesses on each side of the printer near the top front. The top will pivot up on it's back edge and you will be able to see where the paper is stuck in the rollers. You may have to pull it out backwards from the bottom end of the sheet if the top end is not out far enough to get a good grip on it. .
