If it's the HP OfficePro 6978, save yourself a lot of headaches and just take it back (if you're still in your return window!!). I just posted a review about mine and I had the exact problems...It printed just fine when I set it up, but less than 2 weeks later it wouldn't print. I thought I got it fixed last night and today it won't print again. My return window closed yesterday. The store will be hearing about that!
