• never tried but think you have to change paper settings

• This printer does not have the option to auto tray select on mixed documents. There are a few workarounds 1) Some programs, like Adobe Reader, allow you to scale a document to the fit page. 2) You can select specific pages to be printed from one tray, then repeat the same process for the other tray. 3) Some software, like Adobe Acrobat or Reader, will allow you print mixed page sizes as shown on this webpage, https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-mixed-page-sizes-acrobat.html
