I had put my printer on a swivel base on the floor. You will need to access the back to get out any jammed paper as indicated by the onscreen video when it jams. It had made the process so much easier to just swivel the printer around to open up the flap in the back and take out the part you need to remove to look for any other paper bits.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it has pads on the bottom about a 1/4 of an inch thick mounted at the edge of the paper guide and the edge of the main body

The reason I bought it was its ability to print 11X17 paper. In order to do that the tray extends out away from the printer into the room. In tight quarters, that's a problem. The machine "drinks" expensive ink. It makes far fewer copies per cartridge than advertised. It also "scrunches" the paper or creases it as it pulls it through. Setting it for collating is difficult. It serves the purpose but definitely with some issues. I'd probably spend a bit more and get a better quality printer. If you're going to print a lot I'd definitely save up and not get an ink jet.
