Do you need to turn the printer on manually? null

Hello and thanks for asking. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer must be turned on manually to begin. However, if you plan to use it occasionally, the printer may be left on and will go to 'sleep' to save energy abetween printing. It will automatically 'wake up' when you send something to it to be printed or you tap the printer's touch screen. If you plan to not use the printer for more than week, you should turn it off at the printer's power switch. The printer's shutdown procedure will cap the printheads to prevent them from drying out.
