- Answer No. The shape of the cartridges where they insert into the printhead is different. Not much. Just enough to force you to need the new cartridges

- Answer The printer prints pictures great. No separate tray. You'll need to tell the printer what kind of paper you're using under print properties. It should run from your laptop.

- Answer Dear Anonymous; Yes, it should work. HP's website indicates this: Operating System Specs: Mac OS X v10.8, 10.9, or 10.10, Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP SP3, or later. As for Airplay, I know that this HP Officejet works well with iPads, and iPhones. HP's are usually smart to print from these types of devices. That's a plus for you. Hope that helps.

QuestionI just asked if it can scan to a PDF. I'm not sure how to edit the question. But I just thru a few pages and seen that my question was asked earlier. My issue is that the only selection on the little screen is either .TIF or.JPG file. PDF is not an option

- Answer Dear Gorgy; Good question. The best way to scan something to a PDF type is to use the HP Icon on your desktop, not by pressing buttons on the printer display. Double-click that icon and select Scan a Document or Photo, then select Document to File, and then on the right side it'll indicate PDF as the type you want. This process is so much easier, accurate, and controlled. Hope that helps.

- Answer I use HP scan and capture for both pics and pdfs. If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, that will also work.

- Answer Dear Nerdychick; This has always been an issue since printers were invented. Sticky items going through the roller can catch and get stuck. The trick to this one is to make sure that the printing labels and stickers you are using are NEW, not old and worn. If you are going to print labels, make the whole set, not one label. Another trick is to put them on a separate piece of paper and send them through the printer. With a little practice, you can get good at tricking the printer into sending most items through. Hope that helps.

QuestionREGARDING OFFICE JET PRO 8710: Besides printing, is copy, faxing and scanning included? What other features does it have? I have an Office Jet 4620, went to Sams to get ink (584) but they did not have any for that?. Is that still available?.
