• Ryzen 7 4800H. 4 meaning 4th gen and H meaning high performance mobile (basically a high powered laptop CPU) Using userbenchmark.com, you get a rough estimate on the comparisons between the CPUs. The Ryzen is just a hair better but it has 8 cores compared to the i7's 6 cores.

• This particular model uses the Ryzen 7 4800H. Be aware when looking at other sites that the Omen 15 is available with any of nine CPU/GPU combos -- four Ryzen-powered and five Intel-powered. This is the most powerful Ryzen model currently available in the Omen 15 line -- other models can use the Ryzen 7 4600H and/or the GTX 1650 Ti GPU.
