Well, yes, the laptop will play decade old games like WoW with no problems on maximum speed. It's so fast you could run 2 WoW's at the same time on ultra settings! Speaking in terms of relatively new games, I played the following on high-ultra settings at 1920x1080 pushed out to my TV with HDR enabled in GeForce settings. The new Tomb Raider Resident Evil 7 Battlefield 1 The Witcher 3 Skyrim Remastered Final Fantasy XIV online It WILL push games at 4K (Tom Clancy's The Division), though I had to have most settings at medium/low for decent frame rate. I just use this system to game at 1920x1080. It WILL run all of the latest and greatest games for the next few years. If you want something to really blow through al games with max settings and max resolution, get yourself a laptop with the GTX 1070 or 1080 ... be prepared to pay a lot more though!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I run civilization 6 with max graphics as well as Sims 3 and 4 max graphics my wife and I modder them extensively and never have issues with speed. Occasionally a game will crash but this is probably because of mods. Saving takes no time at all and running the games again takes no time at all.
