• You need to buy RAM that supports 3200Mhz frequency without requiring the activation XMP profiles in the BIOS. I picked up the sticks below on Amazon and they WORKED. Kingston FURY Impact 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 Laptop Memory Kit of 2 KF432S20IBK2/32, Black They support high specs in the JEDEC 1.2v profile keeping the frequency on 3200Mhz and response timings equal to CL20

• The installed RAM is running at 3200 MHz, so swapping out the two 8 gigabyte modules to two 16 gigabyte modules at the same speed shouldn't be a problem
