BB customer service told me it's upgradable to 32GB. You might wanna double check.

It is upgradeable, but you have to remove the bottom panel to do so. That'll void your warranty. I've heard really bad things about HP customer service when it comes to warranty claims, so it might not matter if you void it or not. But that's your call.

Yes and no. The RAM is totally upgradeable. You just have to unscrew the bottom panel of the laptop and lift it off. The RAM isn't soldered in, so it's replaceable. HOWEVER, I believe opening up the computer will void your warranty. Something to consider before you start pulling screws.
