How is the speaker sound? null

Pretty good, but not amazing. Its enough to fill a small room with no else in the room but if you were competing with the TV, you won't hear very well. I would recommend good headphones or external speakers.

Much better than my previous Pavillion.

It is OK, but nothing special. It is a big improvement over my last laptop. I'm not thrilled with them, but I am happy. It's a laptop, not a stereo system.
