• Windows 10 does have a built in virus scanner called Defender. You can look up reviews on the how well it works vs 3rd party products you can purchase. BestBuy provided a Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security disk when I purchased the laptop. Unfortunately it is a subscription program that requires payment for annual use, and I haven't installed it, and am not sure how well it works to protect from viruses and spyware.

• Mine came with 1 free year of Trend Micro Internet Security. I imagine after the year, I will have to pay for a subscription.
