QuestionWhat is the hard drive speed. It isn't listed in the specs...I'm guessing 5400. For the life of me, I have no idea why 5400's are still being made!

- Answer Windows 10 does have a built in virus scanner called Defender. You can look up reviews on the how well it works vs 3rd party products you can purchase. BestBuy provided a Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security disk when I purchased the laptop. Unfortunately it is a subscription program that requires payment for annual use, and I haven't installed it, and am not sure how well it works to protect from viruses and spyware.
