While HP will tell you that you can do this, be warned... If you have any issues covered by warranty, they force you to return the PC to them, with stock parts. So basically, unless you want to revert your work back, ship your machine, and have it swapped out, don't buy this. My video card went bad. The RTX 3070 works fine in it (after PSU update) the RTX 2060 is bad, tested in this Omen and another machine. This is horrible customer service, and not practical for gamers who want to do updates to cooling, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The computer has a 500 watt power supply, and the typical recommendation for a system running a 2080 rtx is a 650 watt supply, so you'll almost certainly want to upgrade the power supply as well.
