This monitor has a 1.4 DisplayPort and 2.0 HDMI input for two separate ways you can hook up a gaming PC to it. If you are referring to having a box style setup, this is a 34-inch curved monitor, and would be difficult to use on the go that way and safely encase. You would want a smaller flat panel display and likely no larger than 27 inches. You can inquire directly at Best Buy if you would like them to go over a full setup if you are trying to make a traveling case for gaming.

I am not even sure what you are asking. You can connect this screen to a desktop as it uses HDMI and Display connections.
