“when i used it with my ps5 i got black bars on the sides of my screen, it also wouldnt let me use 1440p and 120hz at the same time”

You have to go into the settings on the monitor itself and Change it. It’s under the tab image and then under image scaling. Then you hit fill to screen. This will make your frames stretch to the monitors size, but I use it on my Xbox and haven’t had a problem adjusting to it
