- Answer No. You might be able to buy a specialty case, or turn this case upside down (with protection if there are vents on the top) but virtually all motherboards are designed in the same orientation, so it is unlikely.

QuestionCan the BIOS for this pc with the HP system with the Wolant motherboard (SSID: 8CF4) be updated to support newer 65W AM5 CPUs like the Ryzen 7 9700X or Ryzen 5 9600X from the Ryzen 9000 series?

- Answer There are anecdotal reports on Reddit with photos of people successfully installing a 9600x and 9700x, apparently they worked after the F.09 rev.A BIOS update that explicitly states a fix for the Granite Ridge (9000 series) Hangup at power on. I don’t know if that means all 9000 series would work, but apparently at least some are. The HP spec sheet for the Wolant 8C4F motherboard is clearly outdated since they’re shipping units with the 8700F, which is not listed as compatible with that motherboard.
