• yes both side pop off very easily. the clear side panel for access to the motherboard, the solid side panel gives you access to the quick-change slots for 2 hard drives. I swapped out the provided hard drive with one that already had game files on it, and the popped in a SSD in the blank bay. just use the rails to mount the hard drives and leave the little tiny screws in the tool box. easy peasy!
