• A:Answer Ah, yes, I remember being a noob and knowing absolutely nothing about computers.... Microsoft has been offering "Home" and "Professional" versions of the OS for the past TWENTY YEARS, since Windows XP. The Home version does most of what you need. The Pro version offers a few additional features, like Bitdefender file encryption. There is also a Windows Home in S Mode version, but let's not confuse you. Baby steps.
