Hello as far as the fax part; yes you can send and receive faxes. I do have a landline hooked up to mine in order to do so. Not sure if it can be done through the internet.

The PageWide Pro 477dw is an inkjet printer using new technology that enables print speeds and costs-per-page ratings equal to or better than some laser printers. (The fastest print speed is 55 pages per minute). The LaserJet Pro M277dw has been discontinued. Its print speed is about 19 pages per minute, fastest.
