• I do not see a SD card slot. I view my pictures using the cord from my phone charger. Super easy, and cheap to buy if you do not have one.

• Yes, The HP specs say it's a multi-format SD media card reader but it looks more like a compact flash slot to me. I haven't tried putting an SDHC memory card on the slot yet.
