Overclocking -any- laptop is a terrible plan, please don’t attempt it. The processor adjusts its speed on its own, and changes depending on cpu load and temperatures. Altering the default settings is a great way to cook your processor and void your warranty at the same time. It says it’s a 2.5ghz processor In the specs, but from my time with it, that’s below its average. Mine pushes up to 4.2ghz under load, and drops down as low as 1.5ghz when it has nothing to do.
