This computer is not portable and does not have a built in battery. You would need to shut it down before you moved it. Otherwise you would need to look for a portable all in one computer.

Unplugging it without shutting down the computer can damage the computer. If you want a computer you can move from room to room, you can purchase a portable all-in-one desktop that has a battery in it. I hope this helps.
