Hi Lily, thank you for the question. There are subtle differences between the two models, and the 27-ca1244 is new. Hence, it requires a different model number. You are correct about the upgraded processor and graphics in the 27-ca1244, but there are other differences between it and the 27-d0244: the display is anti-glare, 300 nits (the 27-d0244's display is Brightview, 250 nits) and the HDMI-in port is 1.4b (the 27-d0244's HDMI-in port is 1.4). The 27-ca1244 uses a 150w adapter and has dual 4w speakers, and the 27-d0244 uses a 120w adapter and has dual 5w speakers.
