QuestionHow do I enable the Qi wireless charging feature on the base of the stand of this model?

- Answer Tips for anyone reading the answer from HP on how to enable wireless charging (it's supposed to come enabled, but mine didn't seem to be): the OSD (on screen display) button is accessed via the right side of the back of the computer, IF you're facing the front of the computer. I turned the computer around to look at the back in order to find the button and in that case, the button is on the left. Once you've got the OSD menu visible, you cannot navigate through the menu options with the mouse OR the touch screen; you must use the OSD button. Navigating was a little awkward, but I figured it out.

QuestionWhat is difference between 27-ca1244 and 27-d0244? Are they the same except that 27- ca1244 has 12th vs 10th generation cpu and has 770 vs 630 graphics? Why the different model numbers?

- Answer Hi Lily, thank you for the question. There are subtle differences between the two models, and the 27-ca1244 is new. Hence, it requires a different model number. You are correct about the upgraded processor and graphics in the 27-ca1244, but there are other differences between it and the 27-d0244: the display is anti-glare, 300 nits (the 27-d0244's display is Brightview, 250 nits) and the HDMI-in port is 1.4b (the 27-d0244's HDMI-in port is 1.4). The 27-ca1244 uses a 150w adapter and has dual 4w speakers, and the 27-d0244 uses a 120w adapter and has dual 5w speakers.

- Answer It may work, but it's not supported by Microsoft, so if you run into any problems they won't be able to help you resolving them. Also, Office 2000 hasn't had any security updates for about a decade, so it's vulnerable to possible attacks.

- Answer It's enough for the components that are installed. Typically things like gaming desktop computers have bigger power supplies because things like high-end graphics cards take a lot of power while still leaving some headroom for future expansion.

The Pavilion 27-ca1244 does not have dedicated audio inputs; it has a headphone-mic combo port and USB-A and USB-C ports, to which you could connect an audio adapter.
