This computer is 16GB RAM, supposedly upgradable to 32GB.

If you are interested in upgrading this device, you would want to contact either HP Support or talk to Geek Squad about possible options. As for upgrade limits, it would depend on multiple factors. The 12th generation intel core products are compatible with DDR5 RAM. The current RAM in this unit is a single DDR4 in general which would need to be matched or replaced. It is recommended that you have a certified technician do any upgrades if you would decide to have it done. If you were to get Geek Squad to do an upgrade, it would not void the warranty, but HP will not cover the new parts.
