Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.(Why answer the question if you don't know what you're talking about? Really...) 1. From page 1 of HP's 2-page English-language data sheet for this model ( http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c05188035.pdf ): "...The ideal balance of wide-angle viewing, and low pixel latency, the MVA panel is perfect for the everyday use you need from your display." 2. From the "Technical Specifications" table on page 21 of the User Manual for this model ( http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05163660 ) "Type: AMVA+" (I assume this is the panel type. HP doesn't seem to be very "forthcoming"...) 3. A good explanation of MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) panels ( http://www.tnpanel.com/tn-vs-ips-va/ ) (No publication date is stated.) 4. A video comparison of an AMVA+ panel and an IPS panel in operation, published on 1-20-17 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VXZ1kjp2dE )
