does it have a sound card? null

I'm hardly what you would call computer savvy, but I did purchase this computer from Best Buy. To your question: "Does it have a sound card?" All I can say is this: I hooked up the speakers from my old Win7 computer and the sound is no worse than it was before. These are inexpensive speakers, so maybe, with higher quality speakers the sound could be much better. So, yes, I suspect the computer does have a "sound card".

The HP Pavilion desktop will have a built in sound card.

This computer as is does NOT have a discrete video card BUT ONE CAN BE ADDED TO improve your visuals.
