• Yes, this motherboard accepts 2666 MHz DDR4 synchronous RAM modules, with two slots provided. The original 8GB configuration populates one of the two slots.

• There are two slots for memory (RAM). It comes with the 8GB memory (Samsung, Model # M378A1K43DB2-CTD). I added the Samsung 16GB memory (model # M378A2K43CB1-CTD). Now my new HP TP01-0034 computer is lighting fast with the i7 CPU and 24GB memory.
