This unit has 3 USB ports; 1 type C and 2 type A; all 3 are rated at USB 3, but the C port is rated slightly faster than the A ports. If you’re unfamiliar with the USB port letters, the C port is a mini slot, typical of some (but not all) cell phones. The A port is the legacy slot you’re used to seeing with printer cables and similar. All 3 USB ports will support a wired mouse. This unit also has Bluetooth. As long as they are compatible, a BT mouse can be supported without using one of the USB slots. The BT mouse will need to be mated to the computer’s BT receiver, so follow the directions in the user’s guide to attach a BT mouse.
