Q: QuestionCAN YOU USE AN EXTERNAL DRIVE WITH THIS LAPTOP? IF SO, WHICH IS RECOMMENDED?

• A:Answer This unit can support an external USB drive via its 3 USB ports. All ports function at least to level 3, but the C port is slightly faster. I have personally used a 3TB drive via one of the USB A ports and achieved level 3 R/W speeds. The unit also has a micro SD card slot.

• A:Answer If you do any upgrades that require you to open the case, then I guaranty it will void the warranty, don't risk it and ask the guys at Geek Squad they will tell you straight and do an upgrade super fast. Just cause it was a cheaper cost is no reason to ruin it.
