• MacAfee is a good program, but sometimes will not work with other programs. I have Norton on one computer and the macafee on this computer and I honestly haven't seen a difference.

• They include it I believe. Virus protection is inherently needed these days, you would be unwise to have a computer without one.

• I would. Most ISPs offer free antivirus software suites, and they play nice with the machine - they don’t bog it down unreasonably. AVG also offers a free stripped-down product that does the job and takes up less resources.

• McAfee slows down the computer and in my opinion offers nothing of value. Windows Defender is part of the basic package and does the job.

• Yes. A PC will only last you a year if you're lucky without internet security. With it, you can probably use it for a solid five years.

• Download Avast! They have a free version or you can pay like $30 a year for like 3 devices. I have it for my laptop and my HTC One phone. Best antivirus I've ever used
