Can this laptop connect to a 5 GHz network? null

Yes, we have ours connected to the 5GHz in our home.

This laptop has the 802.11b/g/n (1x1) Wi-Fi card installed. The n wireless standard did have the 5 GHz. That is an older standard. The most current wireless standards are AC, AX, or AD. You could get an USB wireless adapter with at least AC wireless standard. For more information, please reach out to a blue shirt member in the computer department at Best Buy.
