“I purchased this laptop, maybe a year ago. It stopped working. It turns into a black screen as soon as I turn it on. Won’t let me do anything at all. I barely used this laptop at all, only for school work such as papers. I need help. Can I get a new one?”

• I am pretty sure this comes with a 12 month warranty. If under a year, contact HP, or if you purchased an extended warranty at purchase, contact Best Buy. BTW, did you try starting in "safe" mode?

• I would reach out to HP support to check warranty status. This computer has only been out for 2 months so if you purchased this model it should still be under warranty.
