A:AnswerSecond part of my question. My computer will only charge by the c-port when it is shut down but will not charge by the c-port when it is turned on. Is this normal?
A:AnswerThank you for the question. Generally, software is not covered by the warranty, but could be if said software supports a covered hardware item that HP replaced. See the HP Worldwide Limited Warranty here: https://www.hp.com/us-en/privacy/limited_warranty.html
A:AnswerIt comes with a manufacturer warranty (can't remember the warranty period). Best Buy said it would be covered if I purchased their TotalTech services (1 year for $199). I had that in the past and there were a lot of good services, but I wouldn't buy that just for the computer.
