There are several for laptops for sale, not just one in particular. There is nothing wrong with them. Refurbished devices are just like brand new devices. The manufacturer takes used devices and harvests the parts that are still in good condition and uses those parts to make new devices. These devices are tested to make sure they perform just the same as brand new. If you add the Geek Squad Protection (highly recommend!) you are covered if anything should go wrong with your device for up to 4 years depending on which plan you purchase. I've had many, many refurbished devices over the years, from cell phones, to desktop pcs, to laptops, and I've never been disappointed. I know that it has been put together and certified by the original manufacturer so I rest assured that it will work.

So they're checked and any parts that may have business information on them (like the SSD are wiped or parts that are not be functioning to original specs are replaced.
