How much ink does it eat and how expensive is it? null

I've had my printer a few months now and haven't had to replace the ink yet. We probably only use it a few times a week though. I haven't bought replacement ink yet, so I don't know the cost. But it is a great printer and I just bought another one today for my son in law.

It "uses" ink. Would be crazy if the printer ate anything. Completely different problem there. Refills are cheap

Normal to less consumption. Cartridge is cheaper than normal. $30 for one black AND one color cartridge

It eats ink quickly. The cartridges are small and get used up right away. Also, I feel that the canon ink is much better as the HP ink smudges even with the slightest wetness of fingers. I would not recommend this product. That said, the quality of the print is good.
