Q: QuestionWill this printer work without all ink cartridges being full? Does it print photos? Does it scan multiple pages?
Asked by Curlygirl.
- A:Answer I can verify it does print photos and it can scan multiple pages (and photos). I assume it can operate with only black, like my old HP did.

Q: QuestionDoes this printer only print in black ink?
Asked by Eliza.
- A:Answer No. This is a full color, photo-capable printer which uses HP Instant Ink cartridges: one black and the other a tri-color [cyan, magenta and yellow] cartridge. With HP Instant Ink, you never have to shop for ink cartridges again! They are delivered to your door periodically by the US Postal Service well ahead of the time your present cartridge set runs out of ink. For details, ask a Best Buy associate or take a look at the attached product description. You may pick any of the three plans offered and switch plans as your printing needs change.
