A:AnswerMine did come in an original box but did not have full cartridges of ink. The ink program will send you your first cartridges as soon as you register with it. I didn't know that because I didn't do the ink program registration right away. I went and bought cartridges to use it immediately which is fine with me. The program sends the first cartridges in about within the first week I believe? So it will begin monitoring and send more when I need it. It is nice to be able to choose which amount of printing your will be doing and pay a respective amount monthly for the ink program.
A:AnswerThe one I got looked and worked like brand new. I suspect that sometimes in an overbuy or overstock situation vendors will sell what is actually new stock as refurb to move them out.
A:AnswerFor Best Buy Refurbs I suggest that you buy the extended replacement plan; for this refurb printer it cost me about $20 for two years free replacement if the printer quits working.
