Real world applications would probably get about half of that. I get about 4-5 hours of moderate use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not accurate at all. Having used this computer, even with a low display brightness and on windows powersaving mode, you can achieve about 5/6 hours doing light tasks such as web browsing or watching videos.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess it really depends on what you're doing, but I'm getting roughly 6 hours on a full charge. I'm usually streaming music while doing research, typing up documents, or watching a YouTube video now and then. I also like to leave the keyboard light on and my screen is set to around 70% brightness. I'm sure I could lower the screen brightness, listen to music on my phone rather than the Spectre, and turn off the keyboard light to get more out of the battery, but I doubt it would be the 9 hours HP claimed. The laptop is brand new too, so it could be something that could be resolved with a software update down the road.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on what you're doing on the laptop itself, the battery life can vary by a few hours. If you're streaming movies or gaming, then the battery life will not be as much, however, if you're casually browsing the internet and editing documents and such with medium brightness, the battery life will be around 9-10 hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This laptop is no where near the 9 hours it claims. I just returned mine for the 360. Battery drops power at a rate of 1% every 3 to 5 mins. Just unplug it in store, surf the web for 5 mins and see for yourself. Before returning I did this to the 360 and it was still at 100%
