You can upgrade it to 64 gigabytes of RAM
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased this exact model and from checking on the task bar it says 2 16gb slots row of chips, which is usually a 98% chance that its soldered and there are no extra slots. I have posed this question to HP directly and as of yet have not received and answer. I did open it up and put a new 2tb ssd in place of the one that comes preinstalled because HP's factory SSD's are usually crap and I was right because I ran some benchmarks on it before I switched them out and the read times were absolutely abysmal. The read times were right on par with what you would expect but the write times were awful. I was wanting to upgrade to 64gb ram also but im not going to tear into it anymore til I hear from HP. My guess is that 32gb is gonna be it though.
