• No, the included detachable keyboard does not work while detached from the tablet. It requires a connection with the contacts at the bottom of the tablet in order to work. The tablet does have Bluetooth built in, so you could always purchase and pair another keyboard with it that way. I use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse when I use this computer at my desk at home. I plug it in to my wall mounted 32" TV and control it via Bluetooth with no issues.
