This question is a little old, but at least I can now answer it! Anyway just got this laptop and threw Ubuntu 16.04 on it and everything looked to be working right. Big things like wireless and sound worked. Unfortunately didn't check webcam and mic, I forgot. lol There is an older version of this computer that did have issues with sound, but as I said above this version worked without having to fiddle with Ubuntu. I assume if it works on Ubuntu it should on Arch.
