it depends on the surface where the laptop is on. I put it on a glass table and never have the heating issue. However, if I put it on a stack of paper, it gets hot quite quickly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have your CPU set to optimal 100%? That is going to run the fans more, and more heat wil be generated. Make sure you are not obstructing the air intakes on the bottom. Less air flow, more heat. When you put an i7 into a laptop you are going to have heat, and heat management issues. But I'll take the heat and function, over slower and comfortable.
