• The new model (Kaby Lake 2016) does not have a SD reader. The old model does have one.

• No, they lost the SD card slot with this new model. Two Thunderbolt 3, a USB-A and headphone jack is all you have. I got a dock since I'm usually at my desk when I'm doing photo editing.

• The new model with the 7th gen cpu does not come with an SD card reader. I ended up buying the ASUS Q324 because of it.
